Speed agility, strength and power are the major areas of athletic development every athlete playing a sport should want to improve. Not only are they important, but they aid in the prevention of injury and the recovery process during post training and competition phases

Provide each player with the opportunity to learn, develop, and improve their baseball skills on a regular basis.

Provide each player with an atmosphere that encourages mental, social, and emotional maturity.

Field successful teams at all levels.

Prepare players for high school and college advancement.

Focus on hard work and striving to become a better ballplayer. We believe in pushing your teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in yourself. Character is revealed in times of adversity and baseball provides that adversity. By putting these young baseball players in competitive situations, we help them develop their character which will benefit them not only in baseball, but in life.

2015 We Opened Moe Joe Baseball Academy, LLC. located in Coventry, RI.

And Moe Joe Baseball Club, opened in 2016 a 501 (c) non- profit.  We started with 3 teams, now have about 5 teams ages 9 thru 17. We have players from all over the southern New England area, on our teams.

It is our mission to teach the game of baseball and create an environment where young players can work to achieve their dreams of playing college or professional baseball.

Our coaches work to achieve this by playing in highly competitive leagues and tournaments and when possible, showcases for our older players.

We also believe that through baseball we can help build character and determination, which will truly be an asset to our players in their future.

John is also the recruiter/contact person for anyone interested in trying out, for any Moe Joe Baseball club teams. John has been involved with Moe Joe baseball academy since its inception. I offer one to one baseball instruction.I Have 17 years in college level instruction, hitting, fielding, pitching. Expert in recruiting, admissions to colleges. I have 22 years total experience in helping young men excel with the sport of baseball from age 8 and up. CJ Tsoumakas

CJ Tsoumakas attended La Salle Academy High School (2007-2010) where he was a 3-year varsity player. While at La Salle he earned All-Division awards in 2009-2010 and All-State honors in 2010.

While at Rhode Island College (2011-2014) CJ Tsoumakas was a four- year conference starter in the Little East Conference. In his four-year career he finished top all-time in: Career Games Started: 2nd (38) Career Wins: 4th (18) Career Innings Pitched: 3rd (236.1) Career Strikeouts: 2nd (201)

In 2011, Rhode Island College won the Little East Championship where CJ went 7-2 with a 3.22 ERA and recorded a win in the 2011 College Regionals. In his final season at Rhode Island College (2014) CJ earned Team MVP honors.

CJ also spent two summers playing in the New England Colligate Baseball League (NECBL) playing for the North Adams Steeple cats (2011) and the New Bedford Bay Sox (20013) where he served as both a starter and reliever. Currently, CJ is playing in George Donnelly Sunset League (Newport, RI) for Brothers Oven where he has earned Pitcher of the Year Honors 3-times (2014, 2015, 2017).

CJ has spent the last several years as a coach and instructor coaching for the Ocean State Jr. Waves, Varsity Pitching/Assistant Coach for North Kingston High School (2015), and a current instructor at Moe Joe Baseball Academy.
